Following the release of Trollbeads Mother’s Day collection for 2016 yesterday, I promised my readers a post to show some live images of the collection and the variation available.
The Rosa Pearl Fantasy Necklace appears to come in two shades, a peach pink and a pink/purple pink. Whilst the peach pink is a beautiful shade, I did find it blends better with cream beads from the collection as opposed to beads that are a true pink, so that may be something worth bearing in mind when making a choice over the shade of pearl. The Rosa Pearl Fantasy Necklace is also a perfect compliment to the Rosa Pearl Ring from the Spring collection.
As you can see, the Apple Blossom pendant is of a good size and can also fit on bracelets and bangles. Two of these on a bangle either side of the Pink Delight Facetlook very pretty.
The amount of variation in the Pink Delight Facet is tremendous. Some show the ombre shading, others do not. The range of shades include pale pink, rose pink, cerise, lilac, purple and even a pink with a purple haze reminiscent of the aurora style beads (visible slightly on the far left bead and spectacularly on the far right bead).
This is another stunning release from Trollbeads and the variation available in the glass offers shades of pink / purple that match a range of glass beads already in the collection.
The Rosa Pearl necklace appears to come in two shades of pink, one more peach-pink and one more purple-pink. The Pink Delight Facet ranges in colour from a pale pink to a strong pink which is reminiscent of the Pink Desert bead shade, some appear self coloured whereas others display the ombre shading. All are stunning though.
This is a beautiful collection and is likely to appeal to those of you who liked the Limited Edition Emerald Cherry Blossom fantasy necklace collection. I hope to get some live photos up within the next day or two so please keep your eye out for the next post.
Following last Friday’s debut of Trollbeads Spring 2016 collection, this post brings live images and initial thoughts on the release.
Named the ‘Uplifting Collection’, it features a range of themes including floral, mystical, nature and abstract. The glass beads are nothing short of stunning and aptly demonstrate the high standard of glass that Trollbeads are renowned for. Sparkling zirconas, glittering copper and airy pastel colours dominate. The silver pieces show beautiful attention to detail and will complement past releases, as will the glass.
For those of you viewing this article on mobile devices, please note that there are a lot of photos included.

In summary, this is another beautiful release by Trollbeads. it is a well thought out release and the glass kit is a perfect complement to the ‘Balance of Nature’ kit from the Fall collection last year. The silvers also complement previous release, particularly Spring and Fall 2014. The colours are light and airy and the zirconias and copper dust give subtle hints of sparkle to glisten in the Spring sun. The range of designs in this release offers something to suit most tastes and is a credit to Trollbeads designers.
The first Trollbeads release of 2016 is Trollbeads Valentines collection. Released on January 18th, this is a nice small collection of just three pieces … a glass bead, a silver bead, and a new style of ring.
The glass bead ‘Blooming Hearts’ is very similar to the designs we saw in the glass kit released for Valentines 2015. The bead is a pink core with red, purple and gold glitter hearts on the surface. This bead is limited edition and will retail at £35 / €42 / $46.
The silver bead ‘Heart Rhythm’ is a disc shaped bead and features an edge design similar to a heart rate monitor trace, with heart shapes cut out on the face of the bead. Again, this bead is limited edition and will retail at £25 / €28 / $31.
The final piece in the collection is a new style of ring that allows you to add a glass bead of your choice. ‘Ring of Change’ is not limited edition and will retail at €69.
It has been two years since the last Trollbeads retirement list in January 2014. Once again, Trollbeads have announced that a number of pieces have ceased production and will be retiring from the collection this year.
For a while, these beads will still be relatively easy to get hold of, but once current stocks are depleted, there will be no more available. If there are any of the beads that you would like in your collection, now is the time to look out for any reductions.

This is an amazing collection with something to suit most tastes and colour preferences. I will be posting some live images of the collection over the next few days for those of you interested t see the glass in real life.
This year Trollbeads have specifically launched a global ‘Black Friday’ bead. Released on November 27th, this bead is a limited edition and has proved highly popular.
Designed by Lise Aagaard, this is a faceted glass bead with random patches of copper sparkle. From a distance the core appears black, however when the bead catches the light it does have a slight burgundy hint to it.
This bead is a perfect complement to the copper bangle and is a lovely bead to add a bit of sophisticated sparkle to a Christmas outfit.
The bead retails at £45 / €51 / $56, though between Black Friday and Cyber Monday the bead was on promotion with 25% discount.
Today we see the release of Trollbeads Christmas 2015 collection, ‘Warm Greetings‘.
Here are some live close up images of some of the collection along with my initial impressions / reviews.
Firstly, here are the pictures ….

The highlight of the collection for me actually has to be ‘Snowman Frost & Lady Thaw‘. The way that two tone silver has been used to accentuate different parts of the bead really makes it stand out. Lady Thaw and the Snowman’s hat are in a darker gun metal silver while the rest of Snowman Frost, including his hands are in a more polished silver. It is a lovely little bead and a great complement to ‘Singing in the Snow‘ from last year’s Christmas collection.
The other bead that really surprised me is ‘Fireworks‘. I initially overlooked this bead but it is a great design that is versatile for use well beyond the festive season. It makes an excellent complement to ‘Winter Snow‘, and is pictured below alongside it.
The glass are all very sparkly, especially the Holly Jolly Beads kit. Some collectors may find however that the designs are very familiar to the run of uniques beads we saw released just before last Christmas. The blue bead with the white stars on from the Holiday Beads kit has a sparkly core, which is more obvious in real life than on the stock photos.
Go Christmas Crazy is a very intricate bead, but also a large one, which is reflected in the higher price. Mittens is a sweet bead, though personally I would have preferred it to be slightly smaller and more dainty.
Blooming Hearts is very pretty, and I actually think this would have been perfect for a Valentines release.
The Diamond Bead, Emerald Green is very sparkly, though not for me personally as I don’t tend to be a green person. However it looks amazing with the Holly Jolly Beads Kit.
All in all this is a nice and festive release, reflecting not only the Christmas festive period but also the winter season. It is bright and sparkly and will also work well with last years glass kits.
This post brings details of X Jewellery’s Christmas Collection for 2015. This collection is being released today, 4th November 2015.
Once again we see the introduction of another new colour in the rubber X links, and also two new bronze links. Small releases seem to be the way X Jewellery is going with their range and to be honest I actually much prefer the smaller collections, as it makes them more attainable in terms of cost.
First up is the beautiful Bordeaux Rubber X link (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Next we have ‘Rendez-vous‘, a single bronze link featuring two hearts (£25 / €28 / $31)
And finally we have ‘Now‘, a double bronze link, again featuring two hearts (£37 / €42 / $46)
This collection has a very elegant and sophisticated feel to it and the Bordeaux links are very on trend with this season’s colour palette. The links are also being sold as complete bracelets which as perfect Christmas gifts.
