With temperatures here in the UK 21°C today, and recent local press articles talking of a late ‘Indian Summer’; I thought it the perfect opportunity to get some more use out of my summery pastel coloured beads before I turn to autumn and winter themed colour schemes and designs.
Above is how I have been styling my Trollbeads Fantasy Necklace with Pearl. I absolutely adore Drops of Delight, it always looks stunning whether on a bracelet, necklace or fantasy necklace. Here I have teamed it with Hope, Faceted Aurora and the new Giant Lotus.
Here are some shots of the bracelet I have being wearing with it …
The Trollbeads on the bracelet above are (left to right): Buckthorn of May, Aurora Flower, Daffodil of March, Honey Dawn, Chrysanthemum of November, Aurora Stripe, Water Lilies of July, Faceted Aurora, Calendula of October, Amber Violets, Daisy of April and Fairy.
I love this version of Aurora Stripe, it is quite a pale version and the peachy amber core colour glows through beautifully. I had been looking for a really nice pale version for a while and finally found the perfect one at Bead Sensation in the Netherlands (along with an equally as beautiful really pale version of The Eye to match my equally as pale Wave of Dreams from Joseph Welch Jewellers in the UK).
I think the amber / peach undertones of this bead along with the warm glow of Amber Violets and Honey Dawn perfectly capture the feeling of late summer. Although I haven’t used seasonal Birth Month Flowers, I don’t think this matters as they all have a lovely summery feeling when worn together. As for the Fairy, she regularly finds her way on to the end of most of my bracelet combinations 🙂
Trollbeads Aurora beads are totally the favourites of my collection. I adore the rainbow of pinks and purples and hope that Trollbeads bring out some similar colour schemes in the future, perhaps with some gold in? (Hint hint!)
