The inspiration behind this bracelet comes from my mind being occupied by ‘pink’ things at the minute.
I am a mum to four little boys and I am currently expecting my fifth baby, which is a little girl! Being a girly girl at heart, I am relishing in the chance to indulge in all things pink!
I was actually surprised that I don’t have that many pink beads, a lot of purples but not many pinks. So here is what I came up with …..
Trollbeads used (clockwise from top): ‘Sakura’ (from Kimono Kit), ‘Scirocco’, ‘Cherry Blossom’, ‘Faceted Rose Quartz’, ‘Eternal Love’, ‘Pink Prism’, ‘Pink Diamond Bead’, ‘Rose of June’, ‘Gold Silver Trace’, ‘Pink Prism’, ‘Christmas Heart’, ‘Engraved Romance’, ‘Chrysanthemum of November’, ‘Cozy’, ‘Desert Rose’, ‘Fairy’, ‘Stories of You Lock’.
Being limited on my number of pink beads, it actually encouraged me to mix a range of pink tones together, including rose pink, peach pink, baby pink and cerise pink. Floral and heart silvers continued the girly and feminine theme, the Pink Diamond Bead added some special sparkle. I am really pleased with the overall effect … though I will definitely be on the look out for some pretty pink uniques. I am forever on the look out for the beautiful ‘Rose Bud‘ which was released in 2002, but sadly as this left the collection in 2006 it is a bead which is very hard to come by now. One day I will find one though!
