Inspiration – ‘Zen Gardens’

This Trollbeads blog post brings some bracelet inspiration utilising the stunning Limited Edition Trollbeads Tourmalinated Quartz bead from 2012, which I featured in my last blog post.

With the Tourmalinated Quartz at the centre, this bracelet brings together different shades of green, floral and oriental silvers and just a touch of gold to create an elegant yet striking piece.  Below are some close up photos along with a bead index at the end.

    1. Hi, I think it was around the middle of last year that I got it from the Unique Bead Store in the UK. If I remember rightly it was around the time that the new wave of critter beads came out with the dolphin and octopus. It grabbed my attention when I saw it listed as it was so different from the other unique. Because of the texture it works equally well on a bracelet of glass or stones, it has a very ‘earthy’ feel to it.

    1. Yes, it does doesn’t it. It reminds me of Trollbeads Old Earth bead, but with the colours the opposite way around. I love the characteristic original Troll style. I hope they don’t differ too far from it as I am personally not a fan of the shiny Pandora style, I think it has a cheaper more common look to it that could be imitated, whereas Trollbeads looks like they have had more thought and love going into designing and making each piece, more personal less commercial if you get me?
