Trollbeads Tourmalinated Quartz

This blog post brings a review of Trollbeads Tourmalinated Quartz, which was released back in 2012. Although this is an old release, I have only just managed to find one that I really liked, as due to how long ago it was release, most retailers now have either no stock of the bead or very limited choice of what is left.

The Limited Edition Tourmalinated Quartz bead was launched in combination with the Trollbeads book ”An Icon In Jewellery Design”. The book itself epitomises everything about Trollbeads including the history of the brand and lots of inspirational images.

The Tourmalinated Quartz is a clear crystal bead with inclusions of naturally occurring black Tourmaline needle-like crystals .

I have to thank Marina at Perlen for taking the time to send me individual photos of the beads that they had still in stock, which helped me to choose this pretty example.

If you are still looking for this bead, Perlen had a couple more left. It is listed on their  website under ‘Limited Editions’, but please do message them to ask for individual pictures,  they are more than happy to help.   http://perlenodense.com/products/64-trollbeads—limited-edition/

I will also be featuring this stunning bead in my upcoming inspirational bracelet combination ‘Zen Gardens’, so keep a watch for the post to see more beautiful images of this stunning natural stone.

    1. Thank you! I was worried that I wouldn’t find a really nice one this long after they were released, so I was really happy to get my hands on this one! I love the way that including stone beads can really change the feel of a bracelet, and the Tourmalinated Quartz is so versatile 🙂
