Pantone Spring 2015 Fashion Colour Report

With the release of Trollbeads Spring 2015 collection being just two weeks away, I thought it was the perfect time to take a look at this seasons colour trends in the fashion world.

PantoneSpring2015

The colour palette for Spring 2015 has been given the title ‘En Plain Air’, the theme taking its cue from nature. Cool and soft colours such as blues and greens take centre stage, accompanied by complementing subtle warmer tones of pink and orange .

The Pantone report itself describes the palette as, “An eclectic, ethereal mix of understated brights, pale pastels and nature-like neutrals take center stage as designers draw from daydreams of simpler times. Remembrances of retro delights, folkloric and floral art, and the magical worlds of tropical landscapes restore a sense of well-being as we head into warmer months”.

Trollbeads Spring 2015 collection has been named ‘New Horizons’, reflecting its underlying nautical and nature based themes. These themes work seamlessly with the palette in the Pantone Spring 2015 Colour Report.

The two glass kits feature key colours from the palette. The ‘Aqua Kit’ and ‘Sea Glow’ bead displaying Scuba Blue and Lucite Green hues whilst  the ‘Delicate Kit’ is more akin to Strawberry Ice, Glacier Grey and Lavender Herb.

In summary, this fresh yet delicate colour palette is the perfect guide when looking for key items to update your wardrobe, and accessories, for a fresh Spring look. Trollbeads Spring 2015 collection utilises the colour schemes to bring fresh, on trend additions to the range, both in terms of theme and colour.

All that is left to do now is to buy a few new key pieces to update my wardrobe whilst awaiting the Trollbeads Spring 2015 collection release on 23rd January!!!

2014 Fall Colour Trends

With the summer behind us and heading into autumn, I thought it appropriate to include a post on this seasons key colours.

Here is the Pantone colour palette for Fall 2014:

It is interesting to note how the Trollbeads Fall release has incorporated these colours.  Aurora Red, Cypress  and Bright Cobalt definitely feature in the Northern Forest Kit!

As for the Eastern Facet Kit – Mauve Mist, Sea Fog and Aluminium are evident in the Hope Facet, The River of Life Facet shows hints of Misted Yellow, Cypress, Aurora Red and Cobalt. Harmony Facet is undoubtedly exhibits the blue shades whilst  Luminous Delight exhibits rich yellow shades alongside its amber tones and Inner Strength has hints of virtually all of the colours within its variations.

The Yellow Brown Chalcedony blends Cognac and Misted Yellow whilst the Lapis Lazuli captures the deep blue tones.

I have also seen the colour report for Spring 2015, and the predicted colours and styles are very much my style, so I will be very interested to see Trollbeads Spring 2015 release!

The left hand side of the palette shows gentle blue, green, violet and sand – all colours which are prominent in Trollbeads’ Spring 2014 release. Equally interesting is the right hand side of the palette, which shows more vibrant shades of red, orange, purple and blue – which instantly brought to mind the Trollbeads Native Elements and Purple Heaven kits released for Fall 2013.  I am sure that this is no coincidence, and that Trollbeads designers are fully aware of the upcoming colour trends when designing their collections, however I think it is interesting to be able to see it in this way. It is also nice to know that the kits from Fall 2013 will still be bang on trend come the spring!

I am particularly fond of the Placid Blue and Hemlock colours – very serene!
