I have heard two rumoured release dates for this collection, the 9th January 2015 and the 23rd January 2015.  Last year the Valentine’s collection was released on 10th January, so I think 9th January is the more likely date.  The date for pre-orders is 29th December 2014.

This year’s collection consists of three new silver beads and a glass kit. This is quite a large Valentine’s collection, particularly compared to last year which saw the release of a single bead, the beautiful ‘Be My Valentine’.

Firstly, the glass kit …

‘Love Symphony Kit’ (Limited Edition) (€252  / $276 / £210  per kit, €42 / $46 / £35 per bead)

All 6 beads feature the same design, but in different colours, one of which includes glitter hearts. Whilst these are very pretty beads, some collectors will already be familiar with the style as it has appeared in the Uniques range. The beads are likely to be available separately, and I already have my eye on the lilac and glitter versions.

Next, the three silver beads…

‘Hearts Galore’.  (€28 / $31 / £25)

‘Cupid’    (€42 / $46 / £35)

‘Guardian of Hearts’   (€51 / $56 / £45)

I can say now that I really like the Hearts Galore silver bead, but I think I will have to see the two cherub beads in person before forming an opinion on them.

Whilst I appreciate that larger releases give more choice, I personally prefer smaller ones, solely due to the fact that it makes it more affordable and I am not forever playing catch up with purchases that I end up postponing in favour of the newer release. Trollbeads just have too many beautiful releases!!!
