This post brings details of X Jewellery’s Christmas Collection for 2015. This collection is being released today, 4th November 2015.
Once again we see the introduction of another new colour in the rubber X links, and also two new bronze links. Small releases seem to be the way X Jewellery is going with their range and to be honest I actually much prefer the smaller collections, as it makes them more attainable in terms of cost.
First up is the beautiful Bordeaux Rubber X link (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Next we have ‘Rendez-vous‘, a single bronze link featuring two hearts (£25 / €28 / $31)
And finally we have ‘Now‘, a double bronze link, again featuring two hearts (£37 / €42 / $46)
This collection has a very elegant and sophisticated feel to it and the Bordeaux links are very on trend with this season’s colour palette. The links are also being sold as complete bracelets which as perfect Christmas gifts.
Following on from the earlier Autumn release back in August from X Jewellery, which featured the very autumnal khaki rubber X links, September 16th saw the addition of three new links to the collection.
Again, we saw another new colour in the rubber X links, this time a rich chocolate brown, and two new silver decorative X links …. ‘Together’ and ‘Unity’.
Brown Rubber X (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Together (£50 / €58 / $99)
Unity (£37 / €42 / $46)
As appears to be the new marketing strategy by X Jewellery, they are also selling the new pieces as complete bracelets. Their website https://www.xjewellery.com/en shows a range of pre-designed complete bracelets utilising both new and older links.
I think that the brown links will prove popular, coordinating perfectly with chunky knits and boots for the fall season.
This post brings details of X Jewellery’s Autumn 2015 collection, which was launched today.
I have to say, that from when I first saw images of this collection, I was very impressed. The reason for this is first and foremost the new pieces that have been released, but secondly that the release is small. Personally, I think that this makes the brand much more attainable and collectible. Whilst I am a huge fan of the main line of Trollbeads, I have to say that I find the sizes and frequency of their releases somewhat daunting … it is hard to keep up, particularly in terms of affordability.
X Jewellery’s Autumn collection consists of two new links, a new decorative lock, a new colour of rubber X link, and a new Asian Cord option.
Here are the new additions to the collection:
Lucky Bronze (£37 / €42 / $46)
This link first appeared in silver in the ‘Bloom X Bite’ collection back in Spring 2014. Personally I think it looks even better in bronze.
Twist of Love (£37 / €42 / $46)
This new contemporary design reminds me somewhat of the soft heart from Trollbeads ‘My Sweet Stories’ start bracelet.
Flow Lock (£52 / €63 / $69)
This new lock is based on the ‘Flow’ link already in the collection and provides another decorative lock alternative. I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan of the ‘Zip Me’ lock, and I didn’t feel that the ‘Heart Within’ lock was sufficiently different from the standard lock to warrant buying another. I absolutely love the look of this lock though, and wonder whether we will eventually see a bronze version of this lock as there is not currently the option of a decorative lock in bronze.
Khaki X (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
I really love the way that new shades of the rubber X links offer a cheap way to give a new look to existing links within your collection. I love this color for the autumn. Most of my winter wardrobe is cream, brown or black knitted jumpers and these links will look so cozy. In fact I think they would look great stacked alongside a simple Trollbeads bracelet with just the ‘Cozy’ glass bead and perhaps a couple of silvers.
Asian Cord Pink Bronze (£25 / €33 / $37)
Here we see the standard Asian Cord with new bronze fastenings instead of silver. Personally I think it is a shame they didn’t introduce a khaki cord as well. Currently it is only available in the pink cord.
Finally, here are a couple of stock / campaign images that give a better idea of how the links look together.
So, what do you make of this release? Do you wish it was bigger or do you prefer the smaller releases? As I mentioned at the start of this post, I am really impressed with this release and I am tempted by the whole collection!
Following what seems to be a long wait, we finally have a preview of X Jewellery’s Spring Collection for 2015!
X Jewellery is a rebranding of X by Trollbeads, presumably to reinforce their place in the jewellery market as a stand alone brand, rather than just an extended branch of Trollbeads.
The Spring 2015 collection, which will debut on 15th April, is relatively small. It includes a new colour in the rubber links, four new decorative silver links, and a new colour in the Asian Cord to complement the new links. The theme appears to centre around Spring and the birth of new life … imagine a walk in the countryside in Springtime .. baby birds, lambs and piglets!
First up we have the new rubber X links in turquoise! I really like this colour and think it will look really nice on a two tone bracelet with the black links too. I am not sure how this colour will look alongside bronze links but I think it will look amazing with silver.
X Jewellery Turquoise Rubber X link (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Next up are the silver links …
X Jewellery Innocence (£50 / €58 / $63)
X Jewellery Fortunate (£44 / €51 / $56)
X Jewellery Baby Bird (£44 / €51 / $56)
The next silver link is very similar to Baby Bird, and appears to be a larger version, indicated by the higher price bracket.
X Jewellery Herald of Spring (£50 / €58 / $63)
Finally, we have the Asian Cord in turquoise to match the new rubber X links …
X Jewellery Turquoise Asian Cord (£29 / €40 / $44)
Available in 35 / 40 / 45cm lengths
Personally I prefer the more textured links, like the ones in the Bloom X Bite release last spring, however I am definitely taken with the turquoise rubber X links and will be ordering some once they are released!
Today brings a preview of X by Trollbeads Valentines Day 2015 Collection. This is a nice small collection with a release date set for 28th January.
The collection comprises of three pieces, two new silver single links and a limited edition rubber link in pink.
Rough Romance (€51 / £44 / $56)
Blown Away (€42 / £37 / $46)
Pink Rubber X (€1.50 / £1.30 / $2)
The marketing images include the links set out in a starter style bracelet (as below). There is no confirmation at present but I am wondering if they will offer the starter bracelet ordering option as they did with the Ocean Blue and Red rubber links from the summer and Christmas collections last year. The starter bracelets offer quite a saving if you would be buying the pieces individually.
In the individual image the rubber link looks to be a deeper more cerise pink, whereas in the bracelet image the links appear to be more of a hot pink. Whilst I love pink, I am more of a pastel person and would have loved to have seen the links in a paler pink. I do like these though, and I think they will look very pretty with the floral links from last years spring collection ‘Bloom X Bite’.
