September 5th saw the release of X Jewellery’s Autumn 2016 Collection. Another small release, this consists of 2 new colours in the rubber links, one bronze single link, 1 bronze double link, 1 silver single link and one double silver link.
X Jewellery Steel Blue £1.00 / €1.50 / $1.20
X Jewellery Mellow Yellow £1.00 / €1.50 / $1.20
X Jewellery Light Feather (Bronze) £20 / €27 / $24
X Jewellery Freed Feather (Bronze) £27 / €37/ $33
X Jewellery Bright Star £32 / €42 / $38
X Jewellery Dark Night £38 / €50/ $46
I am not sure on the Mellow Yellow links but i really like the two new bronze links with the feather designs. We haven’t had much by way of releases from X Jewellery this year but personally I prefer the small releases as it makes the collection more affordable and obtainable for many collectors.
X Jewellery launched its Spring collection for 2016 on April 18th.
The collection includes two new shades of rubber X links, two new single silver links and one new bronze single link.
‘Pastel Violet’ Rubber X (£1.00 / €1.50 / $2)
‘Graphite Grey’ Rubber X (£1.00 / €1.50 / $2)
‘Be Real’ Silver Link (£32 / €42 / $56)
‘Risk It’ Silver Link (£32 / €42 / $56)
“Take the risk or lose the chance”
‘Flow’ Bronze Link (£15 / €20 / $31)
In addition to the links being sold separately, X Jewellery are also offering pre-styled bracelets which are composed of new and existing links from the X range. These are perfect as a starter bracelet for someone new to X Jewellery.
This post brings details of X Jewellery’s Christmas Collection for 2015. This collection is being released today, 4th November 2015.
Once again we see the introduction of another new colour in the rubber X links, and also two new bronze links. Small releases seem to be the way X Jewellery is going with their range and to be honest I actually much prefer the smaller collections, as it makes them more attainable in terms of cost.
First up is the beautiful Bordeaux Rubber X link (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Next we have ‘Rendez-vous‘, a single bronze link featuring two hearts (£25 / €28 / $31)
And finally we have ‘Now‘, a double bronze link, again featuring two hearts (£37 / €42 / $46)
This collection has a very elegant and sophisticated feel to it and the Bordeaux links are very on trend with this season’s colour palette. The links are also being sold as complete bracelets which as perfect Christmas gifts.
Following on from the earlier Autumn release back in August from X Jewellery, which featured the very autumnal khaki rubber X links, September 16th saw the addition of three new links to the collection.
Again, we saw another new colour in the rubber X links, this time a rich chocolate brown, and two new silver decorative X links …. ‘Together’ and ‘Unity’.
Brown Rubber X (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
Together (£50 / €58 / $99)
Unity (£37 / €42 / $46)
As appears to be the new marketing strategy by X Jewellery, they are also selling the new pieces as complete bracelets. Their website https://www.xjewellery.com/en shows a range of pre-designed complete bracelets utilising both new and older links.
I think that the brown links will prove popular, coordinating perfectly with chunky knits and boots for the fall season.
This post brings details of X Jewellery’s Autumn 2015 collection, which was launched today.
I have to say, that from when I first saw images of this collection, I was very impressed. The reason for this is first and foremost the new pieces that have been released, but secondly that the release is small. Personally, I think that this makes the brand much more attainable and collectible. Whilst I am a huge fan of the main line of Trollbeads, I have to say that I find the sizes and frequency of their releases somewhat daunting … it is hard to keep up, particularly in terms of affordability.
X Jewellery’s Autumn collection consists of two new links, a new decorative lock, a new colour of rubber X link, and a new Asian Cord option.
Here are the new additions to the collection:
Lucky Bronze (£37 / €42 / $46)
This link first appeared in silver in the ‘Bloom X Bite’ collection back in Spring 2014. Personally I think it looks even better in bronze.
Twist of Love (£37 / €42 / $46)
This new contemporary design reminds me somewhat of the soft heart from Trollbeads ‘My Sweet Stories’ start bracelet.
Flow Lock (£52 / €63 / $69)
This new lock is based on the ‘Flow’ link already in the collection and provides another decorative lock alternative. I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan of the ‘Zip Me’ lock, and I didn’t feel that the ‘Heart Within’ lock was sufficiently different from the standard lock to warrant buying another. I absolutely love the look of this lock though, and wonder whether we will eventually see a bronze version of this lock as there is not currently the option of a decorative lock in bronze.
Khaki X (£1.30 / €1.50 / $2)
I really love the way that new shades of the rubber X links offer a cheap way to give a new look to existing links within your collection. I love this color for the autumn. Most of my winter wardrobe is cream, brown or black knitted jumpers and these links will look so cozy. In fact I think they would look great stacked alongside a simple Trollbeads bracelet with just the ‘Cozy’ glass bead and perhaps a couple of silvers.
Asian Cord Pink Bronze (£25 / €33 / $37)
Here we see the standard Asian Cord with new bronze fastenings instead of silver. Personally I think it is a shame they didn’t introduce a khaki cord as well. Currently it is only available in the pink cord.
Finally, here are a couple of stock / campaign images that give a better idea of how the links look together.
So, what do you make of this release? Do you wish it was bigger or do you prefer the smaller releases? As I mentioned at the start of this post, I am really impressed with this release and I am tempted by the whole collection!
Following the release of X by Trollbeads Valentine’s 2015 collection, this blog post brings some inspiration with the Limited Edition Pink Links.
X by Trollbeads has recently undergone some changes with its marketing / branding. X by Trollbeads is now known as X Jewellery. I presume this is to further distance X from the original Trollbeads line, as although both lines are from the Trollbeads company, they are separate brands with different concepts which will appeal to different target markets. I have still referred to them as X by Trollbeads as this is what most people will undoubtedly still call them until the new name of X Jewellery becomes familiar.
Anyway, back to the subject of the LE pink rubber X links. Whilst I am more of a ‘pastel person, I am most definitely a ‘pink person’, and as such I am drawn to anything pink, whatever the shade! These links are what I would call a ‘hot pink’, with cerise tones. Whilst they are a bit vibrant on their own, they look stunning combined with silver and black, and definitely draw attention to your wrist. I think they will get a lot of wear during the summer, and envisage wearing them with my long black maxi dress and strappy sandals. They will look even better against tanned skin!
I absolutely love the ‘Bloom X Bite’ release from Spring 2014, and have combined the pink links with these silvers, and also some black links, to create striking effects. So without further a do, here are some photos …
Have you succumbed to the pink links yet? I would love to hear what other people think of them and how you have styled them!
